temptations

Hello,
this is the second week that my computers goes so annoingly slowly that i could hardly edit the pictures and "rush" with this post...i forced my right hand at my sons birthday and since than i'm having some problems with my thumb plus that we had Beethowen the 5th this week so ..not too much crocheting...still a few projects that i intend to do and some ready to show.i hope you all had a great week :)
Last weeks productions-some egg cosy trials-willing to do some more and better ones for Easter-

a bit of recycling -old t shirt into bottle cosy featuring some sawdust and paper mache beads

And this weeks attempt to do a lovely little dress that i found on Pinterest with free patterns-you may know this dress already as it is v popular-monpetitviolon's granny square dress.I had to make some changes and still learning as it is not coming out perfectly not because of the pattern but me.My yarn is different, perhaps thinner and the girly i'm making for has 4 years old...

Today we are celebrating my aunts 60th birthday so this collar was juuuuust perfect for the time i had for doing something special for her.Not perfect either.I missunderstood the patterns with the slip stich part so the collar looks different at its edges.I will probably make another because i loved it very much.Thank you very much for the patterns monpetitviolon and cre8tioncrochet http://www.cre8tioncrochet.com/2013/06/vintage-crochet-collar/!

see the edge...this is where i made the mistake and came out wrong...so she will wear this part in the back..
still with this thin yarn and 3.5mm hook came out very beautiful...i just love it.hopefully she will like it...
this is how the collar was packaged-using recycled paper coming from a shoe box, stamped with the rubber stamp i made years ago and a quick paper flower made today!
Have a nice day!!!

  2. Ildi I love every single piece you made, especially the egg (cozies). As for the dress - it's adorable - I've seen it. It has become quite popular on pinterest. I am also in the process of making a design for a granny dress for quite a while - keep putting it down when overflown with orders. I hope I can make it in the course of next week.
